First Class Cleaners partners with local organizations to help people in the community.

Orlando, FL, January 8, 2018 — First Class Cleaners created Team Serving Heart in efforts to elevate their community and encourage community service with their employees. They work with several local organizations including The Job Partnership of Florida, Orlando Union Rescue Mission, and Dress for Success Greater Orlando to provide clothing, food, shelter, and more to the community they call home.

First Class Cleaners is a locally owned dry cleaner with locations throughout Central Florida. They provide dry cleaning to homes and businesses throughout Orange County and Seminole County. The company and their employees have been recognized for their commitment to community service and involvement with local organizations.

“One of our core values is Serving Heart. We believe in serving to help others achieve their goals, giving both meaning and joy to our lives and those we serve. We have created Team Serving Heart, where our team members get together bi-monthly to serve those less fortunate in our community.”

In partnership with The Jobs Partnership of Florida, First Class Cleaners works as a donation drop off point, where people can donate their unwanted clothing items to those who need them. They also provide tailoring and cleaning services at no cost to the participants of the program and assist with the selection of job interview attire.

First Class Cleaners is also a drop off location for Dress for Success which provides women with work clothing and career development tools to help them become successful in their professional life.

Perhaps the biggest influence Team Serving Heart has made is with their involvement in Orlando Union Rescue Mission. The OURM provides a hand up for homeless women, men, children, and families by offering a place to stay and programs to educate and improve their lives. The team has been volunteering with OURM for the past 8 years throwing birthday parties, setting up games for their Fall Festival, and participating in “Splash Day”, the end of school celebration for the children who live in the facilities. In 2017, Tricia Alexander, owner of Orlando Cleaners, was presented with the Volunteers of the Year award.
